  1. SIX MAN TEAM CRITERIA : For every Six Man Team a club sends to the tournament, they must have six participations in the regular trail. For example, there are four qualifying tournaments before the six man tournament. This club would have several options. The entire club can fish one tournament, one member can fish four and another member can fish two, etc. We hope it will be more, but that is the minimum.
  2. The top angler and the top co-angler will be awarded a position on the Twelve Man Southern Division Championship Team for the next year.
  3. When rosters are submitted, by July 1st, each club must submit insurance information and proof of ownership for all anglers in regards to the watercraft they will be using in the tournament.

TOURNAMENT COMMITEE MEETING NOTES:

The following changes/additions to the 2009 tournament rules were voted on and passed :

1) Each contestant must cull after the fifth fish is caught ON THE WATER. If a contestant is caught with six fish in his livewell, that belongs to him, during tournament hours, that contestant will be disqualified.

2) The penalty for weighing in a dead fish will be amended to 1/2 pound. (0.8 ounces)

3) A contestant presenting a short fish at weigh in will be penalized that fish plus the angler's largest fish.

4) There will be a courtesy board provided by TBF, at a specific location, for angler's to check a fish. After passing that point, those fish are your catch for the day.

5) All tournament entries must be postmarked no later than the Saturday before the tournament. The specific date will be posted on this website under the Tournament Schedule tab. All entries go to the PO Box or Joe Worley, no exceptions! We will accept late entries until Tuesday with a $25.00 adder for being late. No entries will be accepted after Tuesday.

6) All anglers entering a TBF of SC tournament as a boater must present satisfactory documentation showing proof of ownership of the boat they are competing in, proof of insurance listing that angler as owner or an operator of the boat in question, or a current insurance policy that states, specifically, that operators other than the owner are covered fully under this policy. Judgment of the Tournament Director and/or Tournament Committee will decide the angler's eligibility.
